Open Call for the MdAPA 2025 Elections

The Maryland Academy of Physician Assistants (MdAPA) is proud to launch the 2025 Open Call for Positions - Nominations!

We welcome nominations of seasoned or new PAs who are passionate about the profession and the mission of MdAPA. Diversity of backgrounds, experience, and skills are sought to represent and amplify the voices of our health care professionals and the communities we serve.

Submission information:

• Who can nominate? Self-nomination or nomination of another individual.
  
  
• What positions are available? See below for each open position(s).
  
  
• What do I need to submit? 

Section 1: Nomination/nominee information 

Section 2: Required documents
(due by the end of the Open Call nomination period):

• Letter of intent
• Biographical sketch
• Platform statement (~300 words or less)

Section 3: Acknowledgement and submission

• What if I am nominating another person? Fill out the form as completely as possible, and when reaching Section 2, directions are included where to write "N/A." The Elections Chair (presidentelect@mdapa.org) will reach out to the Nominee to request the documents with a brief timeline for submission.
  
  
• Do I need to be a member? Membership need not be active at the time of nomination, however, for a nominee to be added to the election ballot, membership with MdAPA and AAPA must be active for eligibility.
  
  
• How long is the Open Call? The nomination period is open for 2 weeks. 

Please fill out this form for nominations prior to the deadline: Tuesday, May 20th at 11:59pm.  Late submissions will not be considered.
