Cardiology practice in Rockville, MD is looking for an experienced Physician Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time position Mon - Fri.

The Physician Assistant will be responsible for providing cardiac standard of care for all patients. They will effectively interact with patients, and other staff, while maintaining standards of professional services, medical care, and attention to detail. The position also requires excellent internal and external communication, people skills, and clinical skills. The successful candidate will be providing cardiac care in a single office setting. They will not be expected to round in the hospital. There are no weekend responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses
• Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
• Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years cardiology experience as a Physician Assistant
• Current and unrestricted Maryland state Physician Assistant license
• Current and unrestricted DEA license
• Current NCCPA certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
